Who receives data

Only these companies receive data from the App, each bound to protect it at least as well as this policy says:

Google processes this data in the United States and other countries. For users in the EEA, the UK and Switzerland, Google relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and the EU Standard Contractual Clauses (https://policies.google.com/privacy/frameworks). No data is transferred to us.

Your choices

How long data is kept

We cannot delete individual analytics or crash records on request: the App has no accounts, so we have no way to find the records that belong to you. That data is not linked to your identity and expires as listed above.

Your rights

Everyone: ask us what the App collects (this page is the complete answer), opt out of personalized ads as described above, and delete your on-device data by uninstalling.

EEA, UK and Switzerland (GDPR): you have the rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and to withdraw consent at any time. For the analytics and crash data we cannot identify you, so access, rectification, erasure and portability cannot be fulfilled for it (GDPR Article 11); you can still withdraw ad consent in the App, stop all processing by uninstalling, and exercise rights over advertising data through Google (https://myadcenter.google.com). You may lodge a complaint with your data protection authority (EU list: https://www.edpb.europa.eu/about-edpb/about-edpb/members_en; UK: https://ico.org.uk; Switzerland: https://www.edoeb.admin.ch). We would appreciate the chance to help first.

California: we do not sell personal information. If passing the advertising identifier to Google for personalized ads counts as “sharing”, you can opt out with any of the choices above. You may also ask to know, correct or delete personal information and will not be discriminated against for asking; the same identification limit applies. Contact us by e-mail.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (16 in the EEA), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you are a parent or guardian and are concerned, uninstall the App; no individual record exists that we could look up or delete.

Premium

Premium is a one-time, non-consumable purchase: no subscription, no trial, no recurring charge. It removes ads and unlocks example audio and word management for all groups. Your premium status is stored on your device and verified with the store; if the store cannot confirm it (for example offline), Premium is kept for a 7-day grace period. “Restore Purchases” in Settings recognizes a purchase made on another device or before a reinstall.

Security

Data sent to Google travels over HTTPS/TLS. On-device data is protected by your device’s own security.

About this policy

This page describes what happens when you use the App; it is not a request for consent, and using the App is not treated as consent. Where consent is required (personalized ads in the EEA, UK and Switzerland; tracking on iOS), the App asks you separately and you can withdraw at any time. We may update this page; the date at the top changes when we do.
